Note:
This posting is for UPMC adult clinics. Applicants interested in UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh should refer to their separate posting. UPMC is seeking four AuD externs for its adult audiology clinics, based primarily at the Eye & Ear Institute (203 Lothrop St., 4th Floor, Pittsburgh, PA 15213), with additional locations across the Pittsburgh area.

Primarily adults and geriatrics, with attention to diversity across ethnicity, culture, socioeconomic status, gender identity, and more.
Interprofessional Collaboration:
Externs may work alongside professionals in medicine, nursing, PT, OT, speech-language pathology, psychology, dentistry, dietetics, vocational rehab, and more.
Staffing and Supervision:
Externs will be mentored by audiologists holding CCC-A and CH-TM certifications across 26 UPMC sites. Four externs are typically placed at this site, with student presence varying by day. Questions? Contact Emma Alscher at alscherer3@upmc.edu .
