Audiology Externship Opportunity Corpus Christi, Texas Are you looking for a well-rounded externship experience that will prepare you for success in both clinical audiology and private practice? Join our growing audiology team in beautiful Corpus Christi, Texas, where you'll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of diagnostic and rehabilitative services while working alongside experienced audiologists and a collaborative ENT team. Comprehensive Clinical Experience As an extern, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills with a diverse patient population and participate in a full spectrum of audiologic services, including: Comprehensive hearing evaluations Hearing aid evaluations, fittings, and follow-up care Vestibular testing (VNG) Cochlear implant evaluations and activations Bone-anchored hearing device (BAHA) fittings and management Counseling and patient education Learn From a Collaborative Team Our practice works closely with a large group of ENT physicians who regularly collaborate with our audiology team. This unique environment provides valuable interdisciplinary learning opportunities and exposure to a wide variety of medical and audiologic cases. Gain Private Practice Business Knowledge In addition to clinical training, you'll gain insight into the operational side of audiology practice, including: Private practice management Insurance verification and billing processes Working with private insurance carriers and third-party administrators (TPAs) Patient scheduling and workflow management Patient Population 75% Adult Patients 25% Pediatric Patients This patient mix provides strong exposure to both adult and pediatric hearing healthcare while maintaining a primary focus on adult diagnostics and treatment.
