Key qualifications and experience:

Current TX audiologist professional license required Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings preferred Strong grasp of Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) assessment and special education evaluations Familiarity with Hearing Assistive Technology (HAT), including FM systems Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with DHH teachers and campus staff Primary responsibilities: Conduct K-12 special education evaluations, including reviewing medical records and performing hearing assessments in the on-site audiology booth Provide recommendations for the purchase and utilization of HAT and other assistive devices for students Collaborate with DHH teachers and campus teams to offer training and support in the use of hearing technology Maintain thorough documentation and professional standards in compliance with state guidelines This contract runs from 2/1/27 to 5/26/27 and offers a flexible 10-20 hour weekly schedule. Choose to work one full day and a flexible partial day, or split your hours into two designated half days per week, with the opportunity to increase your hours if needed.
