Job Description
Job Summary The full time Audiologist will work in a team-based environment to provide the high-level audiologic care. This individual should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced ENT clinic with a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team. The audiologist will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services by assessing and treating neonate, infant, children, adolescent, adult, and geriatric hearing, balance, and communication disorders.

Performance:
Position Specific Essential Functions Identifies and determines type, degree and severity of hearing loss, in patients across the lifespan, utilizing appropriate diagnostic equipment. Shows competency in performing vestibular evaluations, interpreting test results and counseling patients regarding balance disorders and recommendations. Provides treatment with hearing aids and assistive devices, bone anchored or cochlear implants, exhibiting appropriate programming and/or mapping capabilities and providing counseling and appropriate rehabilitation to patients and families. Preference for competency or willingness to work with the following hearing aid manufacturers: Phonak, Oticon, GN ReSound, and Widex and as well as Cochlear Americas for implants. Completes the following tests based on best practices: standard and pediatric audiometry, VNG, EcochG, andABR/ASSR
on newborns and as needed for other populations. Adheres to departmental documentation standards, including: content, accuracy, and timeliness. Fits patients across the lifespan with custom and non-custom hearing and water protection Participates in educational opportunities, reading professional publications and participating in professional organizations and utilizes resources to enhance quality of care provided in the clinical setting. Maintains legal and accreditation compliance by adhering to federal, state, and local regulations, and professional standards. Performs other duties as assigned.
