Company Mission "To Better the Lives of Our Patients and Caregivers Through High-Quality Healthcare and Technology Services" Schedule / Hours Full-time position, not to exceed 80 hours per two-week pay period Scheduling is based on the needs of the Government and Audiology Clinic Shifts may be scheduled Monday through Sunday between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM No overnight shifts Federal holidays excluded Requirements Education Doctoral or Master's degree in Audiology from an accredited institution Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Experience At least two years of continuous clinical audiology experience working with both adult and pediatric patients Experience treating the full pediatric age range, birth through age 17, within the previous three years Experience fitting adult amplification Knowledge of hearing conservation and newborn hearing screening Licensure Current, valid, unrestricted Audiologist license in at least one U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth Additional Requirements Must be a U.S. citizen Must demonstrate competency in Visual Reinforcement Audiometry, Conditioned Play Audiometry, Otoacoustic Emissions Testing, Conventional Audiometry, Acoustic Immittance, Hearing Aid Fitting using probe microphone measures, and High-Frequency Audiometry Must demonstrate advanced competency in at least one additional specialty area, such as advanced audiologic/electrophysiologic evaluation, Central Auditory Processing Disorder, tinnitus assessment and treatment, or vestibular assessment and management Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostic audiologic evaluations for adult and pediatric patients Provide outpatient audiology evaluations, consultations, and follow-up care Conduct inpatient consultations when requested by Military Treatment Facility medical staff Perform complex differential diagnosis of conductive, mixed, sensory, neural, sensorineural, central, and functional hearing disorders Evaluate, fit, program, and manage hearing aids, amplification systems, and other assistive listening devices Conduct hearing conservation evaluations and provide services related to noise-induced hearing loss Support newborn and pediatric hearing assessment and management Evaluate patients presenting with complex or inconsistent test results, multiple disabilities, or other conditions requiring modification of standard audiologic testing procedures Assess and manage patients with auditory and vestibular disorders within the scope of clinical privileges Counsel patients and family members regarding hearing loss, audiologic and vestibular disorders, treatment options, and rehabilitative strategies Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in the evaluation and management of complex patients Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records Operate and maintain specialized audiometric equipment Provide consultation and professional expertise to other healthcare providers and DoD personnel Participate in clinical training, professional consultation, and mentorship as required Follow applicable Department of Defense, facility, professional, and clinical practice standards Why You'll Love This Opportunity Provide care to active-duty service members, military retirees, and their families Work with both adult and pediatric patient populations Practice within a collaborative, multidisciplinary military healthcare environment Work with complex and challenging audiologic cases Stable, full-time employment within a federal medical treatment facility No overnight shifts GiaCare Employee Benefits Eligible GiaCare employees may enjoy: Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Short-Term Disability Insurance Life and AD&D Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) Employee Referral Program
