Externship one-year placement for motivated fourth-year Doctor of Audiology (Au.

D.) extern to join our clinical team for the 2027-2028 academic year. This full-time, 12-month externship provides comprehensive clinical training in the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of hearing and balance disorders across the lifespan. The extern will work closely with experienced audiologists in a collaborative, patient-centered environment designed to foster clinical excellence and professional growth. Clinical Experience The extern will gain hands-on experience in: Comprehensive diagnostic audiologic evaluations for pediatric and adult patients Hearing aid evaluations, fittings, programming, verification, and follow-up care Cochlear implant candidacy evaluations, programming, and ongoing management Bone conduction and implantable hearing device evaluations Vestibular assessment and testing Newborn hearing screening follow-up and pediatric audiology Counseling patients and families regarding hearing loss and communication strategies Qualifications Applicants must: Be enrolled in an accredited Doctor of Audiology (Au.
