  • Position Summary The Audiologist is an excellent opportunity at MultiCare, working with people who have hearing, balance, and related ear problems.
Using technology and computers, you will provide essential hearing services to make a daily impact on the lives of patients. Responsibilities You will perform diagnostic hearing tests including pure tone air and bone conduction testing, speech audiometry and impedance audiometry You will interpret test results for patients and physicians You will make recommendations regarding the need for medical follow-up, hearing aids, ear protection etc. You will conduct hearing aid evaluations to determine the most appropriate amplification for an individual and then fit the aids to the patient providing detailed instruction on the operation and maintenance of the instruments You will provide routine maintenance and hearing aid troubleshooting for aids purchased through this office Requirements Active Washington state license Active bond or security in lieu of bond in the amount of $10,000 Successful completion of a master's or doctorate degree program that includes clinic practicum experience Master's degrees require Certificate of Clinic Competency in Audiology AuD at a board approved institution are considered to have met professional work experience requirement Current BLS Certification About Yakima Memorial Hospital MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital has served the Yakima Valley since 1950. Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $84,559.00
  • $122,928.
00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
