The Director oversees all aspects of program administration, including curriculum development, applying for accreditation and maintaining compliance, and budget management. This role ensures the program's alignment with the mission of UWSP and the standards of the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language-Pathology (CAA), fostering an inclusive learning environment that prepares graduates for evidence-based, person-centered practice. The Program Director represents the program within the university and professional community and promotes innovation in teaching, scholarship, and clinical partnerships.

Compensation:

The Program Director, Doctor of Audiology Program is a full-time, salaried, exempt, academic year (9-month), faculty position. Well-qualified candidates can expect a starting salary within a range of $65,000

• 75,000 annually, commensurate with the candidate's education, related experience, and qualifications.

Required Qualifications:

Audiologist with an active unencumbered license in Wisconsin or license eligible in the state of Wisconsin (must be licensed in WI within 6 months of hire). Earned clinical or academic doctoral degree with a major emphasis in audiology or hearing science. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) Familiarity with CAA accreditation requirements and/or experience with other accreditation and regulatory agencies. Effective leadership and management skills, with the ability to foster a collaborative, innovative, and energetic team. Demonstrated effectiveness as an educator in an entry-level audiology accredited Au.

D. program. Good oral and written communication skills Good interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:
