Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and hygiene to promote independence and self-care skills. Implement individualized treatment plans by applying ABA therapy protocols, ensuring consistency and fidelity in intervention delivery. Collect and record behavioral data accurately during sessions to monitor progress and inform ongoing treatment adjustments. Support clients through behavior management strategies, reinforcing positive behaviors and reducing challenging behaviors. Maintain clear, detailed medical documentation and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and professional standards. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure cohesive care plans and progress updates. Participate in supervision sessions, training, and ongoing professional development to stay current with ethical guidelines such as the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is preferred or required prior to employment. Experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, autism spectrum disorders (ASD), or disabilities is highly valued. Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and implementing care plans. Ability to collect behavioral data systematically and maintain accurate medical records. Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health and client care documentation. Experience working in home-based settings or school environments supporting individuals with disabilities is a plus. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement while maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA standards.
