Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is essential in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, helping them achieve their personal goals through effective behavioral therapy techniques. Duties Implement individualized care plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. focusing on improving clients' social, communication, and daily living skills. Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and interventions. Maintain accurate medical documentation and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Monitor and record client behaviors, documenting any changes or progress in accordance with treatment goals. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for each client. Assist in the development of care plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral therapy. Requirements We will train and help you gain the RBT credential. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with medical documentation is advantageous. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of client information. Strong communication skills to effectively educate clients and their families on behavior management techniques. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a focus on individual client needs.
