In this role, you'll be instrumental in supporting a diverse student population, providing tier 3 intervention services to a caseload of 25-30 students. Collaborate closely with educators and school teams to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment near Dixons Mills, AL.
Key Qualifications:
Current BCBA certification required Prior experience delivering behavioral interventions in an educational or pediatric setting Strong understanding of tiered intervention models, especially tier 3 supports Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize a caseload of 25-30 students Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams Skilled in functional behavior assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and progress monitoring
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and write individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students in need of intensive support Provide ongoing consultation and coaching to school staff regarding the implementation of BIPs Monitor student progress, analyze data, and adjust interventions as needed Facilitate staff and caregiver training to support best practices in behavioral strategies Work collaboratively with counselors, teachers, and other specialists to promote positive student outcomes Maintain compliance with documentation and reporting requirements This contract position offers the chance to grow professionally while making a lasting impact in a supportive educational setting.
