Overview Join our dynamic team as a School-Based BCBA - Behavior Consultant and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. In this role, you will deliver evidence-based behavioral interventions within school settings, collaborating closely with educators and multidisciplinary teams. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply ABA-based procedures in a collaborative environment dedicated to client-centered care. Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on comprehensive assessments such as a Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA). Analyze data to identify patterns, needs, and barriers to student success. Develop, review, and monitor behavior intervention plans (BIPs). Recommend evidence-based antecedent strategies, reinforcement procedures, replacement skills, and response strategies. Support teams in addressing challenging behaviors using proactive, instructional, and least-restrictive approaches. Monitor intervention effectiveness and recommend modifications based on data. Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local privacy and confidentiality requirements, including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and, when applicable to the services and information involved, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and its implementing regulations. Requirements Master's degree or higher in behavior analysis, special education, psychology, education, or a related field. Current BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Current license to practice in the state of Alabama (LBA). Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings. Knowledge of ABA principles, functional behavior assessment, behavior intervention planning, PBIS, and MTSS. Strong consultation, communication, training, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze behavioral data and translate findings into practical recommendations. Pay:

$55.00 - $65.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 25.0 per week
