Position Overview The Registered Behavior Technician will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and collaborate with school staff to implement behavior intervention plans, collect behavioral data, and help students achieve their academic, social, and behavioral goals. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision Provide one-on-one and/or small-group behavioral support to students Collect and maintain accurate behavioral data and documentation Assist students in developing behavioral, social, communication, and functional skills Utilize positive reinforcement and other behavior-support strategies Collaborate with teachers, school staff, BCBAs, and other members of the student support team Maintain student confidentiality and professionalism Follow established ethical and professional standards Qualifications Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Active RBT certification High school diploma or equivalent required Experience working with children or individuals with developmental or behavioral needs preferred Previous school-based, ABA, or pediatric experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and accurately collect data Ability to work onsite for the duration of the school year
