Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Take your skills as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to the next level with a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students in Huntsville, AL. This full-time role is designed for experienced RBTs who are confident working in diverse school settings and eager to impact young learners' lives. You'll provide vital behavioral support and interventions within an educational environment, working under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provided by the district. Placement flexibility is key, as you may receive your school assignment just prior to clearance, and the district is determining its interview process. Candidates must be adaptable and comfortable with these protocols. What you'll bring: 1-2 years of experience as a Registered Behavior Technician in school-based settings Active or inactive RBT certification (certification must not be expired and can be verified via BACB) Comfortable upholding a consistent, full-time school schedule, with no late arrivals, early departures, or modified schedules Confidence collecting behavioral and classroom data Experience supporting students who may require physical interventions Willingness to assist with bathroom/toileting needs, if needed Reliable transportation Key responsibilities: Deliver 1:1 and group ABA interventions following BCBA guidance Track and report behavioral data regularly Collaborate with teachers and support staff to foster a positive learning environment Manage behavioral crises, including physical intervention if necessary, in accordance with safety protocols
Additional Details:
Contract runs ASAP through May 28, 2027 35 hours per week, school hours between 8:00 AM - 3:40 PM depending on assignment Hourly pay for new hires ranges from $24-$25 Embrace a rewarding position where your dedication helps students thrive.
