Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a vital support role as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) providing care and expertise to an elementary school caseload. This rewarding contract opportunity covers a Maternity Leave from September 23, 2026 through January 11, 2027. You'll collaborate with BCBA supervision, working closely with students and school staff to create a positive, inclusive environment that helps all learners thrive.
Key Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Demonstrated experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in a school setting Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis and direct student support Ability to follow BCBA treatment plans with fidelity Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, staff, and families High level of professionalism, reliability, and adaptability
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver one-on-one or small group behavioral interventions to support students' goals Collect, record, and summarize behavioral data according to established protocols Follow guidance and treatment strategies as outlined by BCBA Support teachers and other school professionals with in-class strategies and interventions Maintain thorough documentation and comply with confidentiality standards Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented school culture This contract position allows you to make a direct impact while expanding your professional skills in a supportive educational atmosphere.
