Job Description

Behavior Technician / RBT — Paid Training + RBT Exam Pass Bonus Outcomes ABA is hiring compassionate, dependable, and energetic Behavior Technicians / Registered Behavior Technicians to provide clinic-based and in-home ABA therapy for children with autism. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with children, wants meaningful hands-on experience, and is interested in helping children build communication, social, play, independence, school-readiness, and daily living skills. Prior ABA experience is preferred but not required. Paid training, hands-on support, and BCBA supervision will be provided.
Pay:
$15-$20 per hour, based on experience and certification status

Hourly, non-exempt
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30
PM Weekends:
No weekends anticipated What We Offer Paid ABA training Support toward RBT certification RBT exam pass bonus for eligible employees Ongoing BCBA supervision and coaching RBT professional development/in-service training opportunities Paid team training and supervision Referral bonus opportunities Approved travel support may be available for eligible in-home assignments Growth opportunities as the clinic expands Positive, child-centered, family-driven work environment Position Summary Behavior Technicians work directly with children with autism under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Technicians implement individualized ABA treatment plans, collect data, support skill development, and help create a safe, positive, and encouraging learning environment. Services may be provided in the clinic, in the child's home, and/or in community-based settings as clinically appropriate. Responsibilities Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to children in clinic-based and in-home settings Implement individualized treatment goals written by a BCBA Support communication, social, play, school-readiness, daily living, and behavior reduction goals Collect accurate data during therapy sessions Follow behavior intervention plans and safety procedures Use positive reinforcement and child-centered teaching strategies Support generalization of skills across people, places, and routines Communicate professionally with supervisors, caregivers, and team members Maintain client confidentiality and follow ethical standards Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team communication Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent required RBT certification preferred, but not required at hire Employees who are not currently certified must obtain and maintain RBT certification within 6 months of employment Prior experience with children, autism, ABA, childcare, education, or healthcare is preferred Must be dependable, patient, compassionate, and willing to learn Must be able to follow written treatment plans and accept feedback from supervisors Must be able to pass required background checks Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance may be required for in-home assignments Physical Requirements This position may require the ability to sit on the floor, stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, block, and respond quickly to client safety needs. The role may also involve assisting children during play, transitions, daily routines, and behavior support procedures. Reasonable accommodations may be made as required by law.
