RBT Trainer Position Summary:
The RBT Trainer is a full time leadership position responsible for supporting daily clinic operations while maintaining a caseload of providing direct ABA services. This position serves as an operational leader, supports other Registered Behavior Technicians, promotes high quality clinical services, and helps ensure efficient clinic operations across assigned Java Autism Services clinics. Schedule Availability during clinic hours 15 - 25 billable hours per week Half-hour lunch daily Full time (40 hours/week) with eligible benefits RBT trainers will have an assigned home clinic and will also float between other Java clinics within a 20 minute drive as directed by Java leadership. Primary Responsibilities Direct Clinical Services Provide direct ABA therapy to assigned clients Serve as a floating staff member for client sessions needing coverage Cover lunches as needed Implement treatment plans with fidelity Complete documentation within company quality standards and timelines Administrative Operations (outside of session time) Monitor and manage the clinic floor Coordinate staff breaks Ensure clinic sanitation and organization Manage the clinic phone Respond to behavior support requests and emergency code calls Support staff with operational questions Complete administrative projects during downtime Assist leadership with clinic operations Assist with clinic training assigned by leadership Communicate effectively with Clinic Director, BCBAs, Assistant Clinicians, RBT Trainers, and staff Assist with special projects and other duties assigned by clinic leadership Complete the Independent Session Readiness Checklist for newly hired RBTs Complete two-week onboarding checklists Provide recommendations to the Clinic Director regarding readiness for independent sessions and client assignments Coach and support RBTs in documentation and clinic expectations Model professionalism and high quality clinical practice Minimum Qualifications Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential Minimum of one year as an RBT Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook, and CentralReach Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and leadership skills Strongly Preferred Recommendation from a Director Strong history of attendance
