The Role We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our traveling ABA team. You'll work directly with children, teens, and adults with autism and developmental disabilities, implementing individualized treatment plans designed by a BCBA. This role is hands-on, client-centered, and highly rewarding. Travel Expectations Our team travels to serve clients in Flagstaff, Williams, Winslow, Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, Camp Verde, Sedona, the Grand Canyon, and surrounding areas. Long distance travel is capped at 3 days per week, unless more travel is requested by employee. Travel time and mileage are paid for trips that are not local. Duties Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in-home, in-school, or in community settings. Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and enhance quality of life. Collect and record data on client progress, behaviors, and interventions accurately and consistently. Teach social skills, communication strategies, and coping mechanisms to clients in various settings. Actively engage clients in naturalistic teaching, including floor play and community activities. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and medical documentation. Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to each client's needs. Administrative duties including but not limited to: schedule management, team meetings, emails, etc. Monitor client behavior and implement behavior management techniques as necessary to ensure safety and promote positive outcomes. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to behavioral health practices. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (required); some college in psychology, education, or related field preferred Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Active Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card Active First Aid/CPR Certificate Must pass appropriate background checks Previous experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is required Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and principles Experience in special education or behavioral therapy settings Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records, and documentation best practices Must be physically active and able to engage in play-based learning. Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel outside of town for sessions up to 3 days per week Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment are essential for success in this role.
