00 - 7:00 pm We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, to implement evidence-based behavioral interventions. Your energy and enthusiasm will help foster meaningful progress in clients' communication, social skills, and daily living activities. As an RBT, you will play a key part in creating positive change and supporting clients' growth in a compassionate, structured environment. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses to interventions accurately and consistently. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting to promote independence. Use behavioral management techniques to reinforce positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors. Support teaching sessions that enhance communication skills, social interactions, and adaptive skills tailored to each client's needs. Maintain confidentiality of all medical records and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding client information. Communicate regularly with team members about client progress and update care plans as needed. Requirements Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and data collection methods. Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior intervention plans effectively. Strong understanding of medical terminology, documentation procedures, and maintaining accurate medical records. Compassionate attitude with excellent teaching skills and patience when working with diverse populations. Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and safeguarding client confidentiality.
