Lead Behavior Technician Job Classification:
Hourly non-exempt Qualifications Have a high stress tolerance, be self-regulating, possess both reliability and consistency, be able to learn and problem solve well, and have practically perfect organizational skills. Any combination of knowledge and experience that would provide the required ability to adequately perform the job as detailed in this job description would qualify. As a Lead Therapist, you will act as a coach and support in the management of the operational duties of your locations to ensure it functions well.
Qualifications and Skills Include:
Ability to train employees and act as a coach High School Diploma or equivalent RBT certification preferred CPR Certified preferred Ability to maintain security of sensitive, confidential, and privileged information Must be flexible to cross train and work in any hourly position when needed Must be able to multi task with exceptional organizational skills Must be able to communicate pleasantly, professionally and effectively Leadership by example Ability to write reports, including but not limited to, mandate reporting and SIR reports. Ability to document trainings and coachings. Must be willing to work with consumers who engage in challenging behavior that may include but is not limited to aggressive, biting, throwing, self-injurious behavior, and self-stimulatory behavior
Responsibilities:
Supporting and ensuring the daily plan is executed efficiently Training staff and communicating any policies and procedures Managing a clean and professional appearance of the facility Assist with managing employee break and meal period schedules Be the designated Therapist to relieve employees for breaks and meal periods Report any non-compliance issues to Site Manager, Case Managers, or Clinical Director Assist with Managing daily call-out log for consumers and employees Daily Auditing and reporting any missing information and discrepancies with consumer time-sheets Maintains security procedures and adheres to HIPAA obligations. Assist with managing consumer records and binders Administrative support to HR and Operations Communicate and act as a coach to ensuring protocols and training from License Professional are being followed Open or close the facility Inventory food supply (for locations with no cook) Complete other duties as assigned Follow the company policy handbook, manager directive, and any training received.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
Ability to deal with high stress Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, or sit up to 10 hours Ability to bend or twist repetitively Reports to: Site Supervisor Supervisory duties: Will act as a coach, but will not give disciplinary action
