Psych / education students: Get paid experience with kids with autism, 12-20 hrs/week, $20-23/hr, around your class schedule. Ascent ABA is a California-based, clinician- and family-owned ABA provider serving children with autism and related developmental disabilities in the Inland Empire (Chino Hills, Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, Fontana, etc.). This is an entry-level Behavior Technician role. We provide structured training, close mentorship, and ongoing professional development so you can grow in the ABA field while you finish school. You must already have experience working with children. What you'll do Work 1:1 with children with autism in their homes, schools, or community settings Follow treatment plans created by a supervising clinician Teach communication, social, and daily living skills through play and structured activities Track data on your sessions and communicate progress to your supervisor Participate in regular coaching and feedback meetings Perform physical tasks such as lifting, kneeling, and bending during sessions What you bring Genuine interest in working with kids with autism and their families Positive attitude, reliability, and strong follow-through Openness to feedback, coaching, and learning new skills Comfort traveling to client homes/schools in the Inland Empire region Requirements Current student or graduate with a background/interest in psychology, education, child development, or related field High school diploma or equivalent; minimum age 18 Prior experience working with children Valid driver's license, reliable car, and willingness to drive up to 30 minutes between clients Ability to assist clients and lift up to 30 pounds Proficiency in spoken and written English Authorization to work in the U.S. Schedule & pay 12-20 hours per week Must be available at least 3 weekdays between 3:30-7:30 pm Starting pay: $20-23 per hour, based on experience and education
