Behavior Technician Health, Behavior, Happiness Fairfield, CA Job Details Part-time $26 - $30 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Spanish English Experience working with children Teaching Full Job Description Job Summary Health, Behavior, Happiness is seeking a dependable and compassionate bilingual (English/Spanish) part-time Behavior Technician (BT) to provide one-to-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to a child in the Fairfield, CA area. The Behavior Technician will work directly with the client to develop communication, social, adaptive, and other meaningful skills through individualized ABA programming. The BT will receive ongoing supervision, training, and support from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, is reliable and professional, and is interested in helping clients develop greater independence and meaningful skills. Responsibilities Provide one-to-one ABA services according to the client's individualized treatment plan. Implement skill acquisition and behavior support programs under the supervision of a BCBA. Collect accurate data during sessions and complete required session documentation. Implement reinforcement, prompting, naturalistic teaching, and other ABA strategies as trained. Communicate professionally in English and Spanish with the client's family and treatment team. Participate in ongoing training and supervision. Maintain client confidentiality and follow applicable ethical and professional standards. Qualifications Fluency in both English and Spanish is required. Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred. Previous ABA or Behavior Technician experience is preferred. Reliable, professional, and able to consistently maintain scheduled sessions. Comfortable receiving feedback and implementing treatment protocols under BCBA supervision. Ability to successfully complete required background checks and employment requirements. Reliable transportation to the Fairfield, CA area.
