Training in non-violent crisis intervention. Copies of transcripts, diplomas, or certificates outlining the required education.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent. Documentation of passing the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Examination, or 48 semester units or equivalent to an Associate of Arts degree or higher preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Two years of experience working with individuals who exhibit challenging behaviors in an educational or clinical setting preferred. Completion of 40 hours of training in basic principles of applied behavior analysis, within the first 6 months of employment Familiarity with ethical guidelines outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Applicants should carefully identify and describe all information relating to their qualifications for the position. Following the recruitment closing date, the qualifications of all candidates will be evaluated. Those who pass screening will be invited to participate in a written examination, tentatively scheduled for TBD. Those who pass the written examination will be invited to a panel interview with subject matter experts, tentatively scheduled for TBD. Based on the final scores, a ranked candidate list will be established. Selected candidates from the list will be invited to a final interview with the hiring administrator. Therefore, it is recommended that candidates check their email at least daily.
