Job Description

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and active RBT certification; 1 year experience working with children. Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) : The RBT is a paraprofessional certification in behavior analysis. RBTs assist in delivering behavior analysis services and practice under the direction and close supervision of a Clinical Supervisor or BCBA, who are responsible for all work RBTs perform (BACB, 2022).
Summary/Objective :
Responsible for providing intensive behavioral intervention services to clients with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental delays in language, cognitive, adaptive behavior, social-emotional, self-care, fine motor, gross motor, and communication development. The Behavior Therapist is ultimately responsible for direct delivery of the behavioral services to the children and families, as well as accurate record keeping of case notes and excellent communication with the Clinical Supervisor about the program and the progress of the behavior service plans. The Behavior Therapist maintains a weekly billable caseload of service hours as directed by the Clinical Director.
Essential Functions:
  • Provide direct therapy in individual sessions.
  • Complete weekly program writing and maintain the client's program book.
  • Assists Clinical Supervisor with implementing individualized goals and checklists.
  • Implements individualized treatment plans as written and directed by the Clinical Supervisor or BCBA.
  • Collects accurate data and graphs data as instructed.
  • Maintains dignity and confidentiality for all clients.
  • Maintains and protects the wellbeing of all clients.
  • Completes and returns session notes and other paperwork on time and manages client Private Health Information or PHI in accordance with HIPAA.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to meet CA's driving requirements
  • Dependable means of transportation
