In this rewarding role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, support skill development, and promote positive behavior change through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). You will work closely with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster growth, independence, and improved quality of life. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and hygiene to promote independence. Collect and analyze behavioral data to monitor progress and inform treatment plans. Implement individualized behavior management strategies based on approved care plans aligned with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts. Deliver direct behavioral therapy sessions in home-based or clinical settings, utilizing ABA protocols tailored to each client's needs. Support clients' communication skills through teaching and reinforcement techniques, including client communication strategies. Maintain accurate medical documentation, behavioral records, and progress notes while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality. Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to support autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and neurodevelopmental disorders interventions. Experience not required however, the following are a plus: Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those with autism spectrum disorder or other neurodevelopmental conditions. Demonstrated ability to implement ABA therapy protocols effectively in various settings such as homes or schools. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation standards. Experience working within special education environments or school settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of behavioral health principles, behavior management techniques, and data collection methods for behavioral analysis. Home-based behavioral experience is a plus, along with understanding of client care procedures in diverse environments. Strong communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and team members while maintaining professional and ethical standards.
