We are looking for an experienced, reliable RBT to provide 1:1 support for our elementary-school-aged son with autism for 20+hrs/week.

Schedule Saturday:

approximately 8 hours

Sunday:

approximately 8 hours Some weekday late afternoon/evening hours More hours available during summer and school breaks Requirements Current RBT certification Minimum 2 years of experience working with children with autism Experience with elopement, dysregulation and safety-related behaviors BCaBA certification or advanced ABA experience is a plus Fluent English and strong communication skills Active and comfortable being on your feet for much of the day Creative, patient and able to think outside the box Reliable car, valid driver's license, insurance and clean driving record Background check and Live Scan fingerprinting required Strong professional references are required and will be checked before hire

Role:

This is an active, community-based role focused on helping our son grow across behavior, communication, academics, social skills, life skills and independence.

Responsibilities include:

Supporting regulation and proactively managing elopement/safety Helping develop social skills, communication, daily living skills and independence Supporting academic growth and reinforcing goals from his private special-education tutors Working collaboratively with his BCBA, speech therapist and family Safely driving him to classes, parks, indoor playgrounds, hiking and other community activities Helping him explore new interests and participate meaningfully in the community The RBT will be supported and supervised by a BCBA, including direct observation, coaching, behavior-strategy development and ongoing collaboration. RBTs are required to work under qualified ongoing supervision, and we intend to provide strong clinical support rather than leaving the RBT to manage challenging situations alone. Transportation while supporting our son will be reimbursed at $0.70 per mile.
