Schedule:

Full-time, Part-time, or Substitute/Fill-In opportunities based on district needs Position Overview The Behavior Technician (BT) helps support students with special needs by providing behavioral and educational services in the school setting. BTs work closely with teachers, BCBAs, and other educational professionals to promote student growth, independence, and success. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans under the direction of a BCBA Provide one-on-one and small group support to students Collect and document student behavioral and academic data Assist with communication, social, academic, and daily living skill development Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families Maintain confidentiality and comply with all professional standards and district requirements

Qualifications Preferred:

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Previous experience in a school, special education, or ABA setting

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent At least 18 years of age Two years of pediatric experience preferred Current CPR certification (if required) TB test, PPD, or chest X-ray clearance (as required) Ability to meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements Why Work with Amergis?
