Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one behavioral support for a first-grade student exhibiting intense behaviors in a general education setting. This contract position is based in Woodland, CA, running from ASAP through June 5, 2026, with a commitment of 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct one-on-one support to a first-grade male student with intense behavioral challenges. Collaborate closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to effectively implement the student's Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP). Address behaviors such as attention-seeking and avoidance, ensuring consistent and positive interaction. Work alongside a paraeducator to provide comprehensive support within the general education classroom. Document and report progress and behavioral observations as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Experience working with young children exhibiting intense or challenging behaviors. Ability to implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance. Strong communication skills to collaborate with educational and clinical teams. Patience, empathy, and dedication to supporting student growth and success.

This position is located in Woodland, California, supporting a student in the local school environment.
