In this role, you will work closely with an assigned student to support their behavioral goals in a school setting, while also assisting in different classrooms as needed. Requirements:

Required:

High School diploma or equivalent. At least 60 college units or an AA/AS degree is preferred Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Behavior Therapist or Behavior Technician preferred General understanding of developmental disabilities, behavioral interventions, and instructional strategies. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Reliable transportation

Responsibilities:

Work one-on-one with special education students in the school setting. Implement behavior intervention strategies in alignment with the student's Behavioral Intervention Plan (BIP), with guidance from the Behavior Intervention Developer and classroom teacher. Demonstrate appropriate response and implementation of feedback, as provided by the Behavior Intervention Developer Data collection & data analysis on specific behaviors and skills targets for child development Follow outlined company policies, guidelines, and protocols (including clinical & administrative) Attend scheduled meetings and training Performs related tasks as required. \•The Aptus Group participates in E verify.
