A highly motivated Occupational Therapist or skilled COTA is needed to provide exceptional therapy services in a school environment. Step into a rewarding role supporting children and adolescents, fostering development of essential skills for academic and daily living success. This full-time opportunity is based on a single campus, allowing you to form meaningful relationships with your students and collaborate closely with school staff.
Key Qualifications:
Active California Board of Occupational Therapy License required Experience or strong interest in a school-based setting supporting K-12 populations Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and related documentation preferred Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and progress evaluations for students on your caseload Develop and implement treatment plans and strategies tailored to each student's unique needs and goals Participate in IEP meetings as a valued team member, providing insight on goals and accommodations Educate and consult with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes Maintain timely, clear, and accurate documentation of all services rendered This role features a standard 32.5-hour work week for outstanding work-life balance, and you will be based at one location.
