Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and hygiene routines, to promote independence. Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans. Implement individualized ABA therapy protocols designed by licensed behavior analysts to support clients with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental conditions. Support the development and execution of care plans tailored to each client's needs, ensuring consistency across all interventions. Engage in direct behavioral therapy sessions, applying behavior management techniques to reinforce positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors. Maintain detailed medical documentation, including progress notes, session reports, and compliance with HIPAA regulations for client confidentiality. Communicate effectively with clients' families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and progress updates. Qualifications Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially within special education or home-based behavioral settings. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and autism spectrum disorders support. Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior intervention plans with patience and professionalism. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation standards. Strong communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement. Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders or autism is highly preferred.
