• Equivalent to graduation from high school and/or any combination of experience and training to provide the required knowledge and skill. An AA degree, or 2 years equivalence of acceptable college coursework, or successful passage of an acceptable rigorous assessment is highly preferred.
• Experience with specialized populations with behavior needs
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification, or willingness to obtain and maintain registration as Behavior Technician within the 4 months of hire into the position
• 40 hours Registered Behavior Technician Training desired/Must be currently CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) trained or be willing to complete CPI training upon employment.
• Possess a valid California driver's license and maintain insurability
• Transport students from time to time as required, in a district vehicle.
• Possess or obtain First Aid and CPR certification as required.
• Copy of Transcript(s)
• Letter of interest
• Resume
