Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Behavior Therapist and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children by providing expert behavioral health support. In this role, you will deliver evidence-based therapy and personalized treatment plans to promote positive behavioral change. As a Behavior Technician, you'll deliver one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism and related developmental differences. Under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you'll follow individualized treatment plans, collect data, and help build skills in communication, social interaction, and daily living. Work effectively in client's home Implement individualized ABA programs under the direction of the supervising BCBA Collect and record accurate session data using agency-approved software Maintain professional communication with supervisors, families and team members Participate in required training sessions and team meetings Support the generalization of client skills across multiple settings and caregivers Ensure compliance with all clinical, ethical and confidentiality standards Experience providing ABA services and knowledge of ABA principles Experience working with developmental disabilities Current CPR and First Aid certification. Valid California driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance Bilingual preferred Master's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field required High School Diploma or equivalent required RBT certification preferred Effective time management skills Work flexible hours to meet program requirements Commute to various areas in the San Diego county Proficiency in Google Suite, Excel, MS Word Available to work on Saturdays based on operational needs Must be able to successfully complete a background check and motor vehicle record check Must be able to submit verification of authorization to work in the U.S.A. upon hire Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities requried Ability to work 10 - 40 hours / week Valid California Class C driver's license, valid insurance, and own transportation Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient, and eager to learn Physical Requirements The employee must be able to: Sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and transition between positions for extended periods. Participate in home, school, clinic, and community-based services. Lift and carry up to 25 pounds, or more when required by an approved behavior support plan using safe practices. Respond promptly and safely during behavioral crises or emergencies.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
