• We are hiring
• Afterschool Behavior Technicians
• to support students in Central County San Diego. This role focuses on providing behavioral, social-emotional, and supervision support during afterschool programming. Candidates should be reliable, patient, and comfortable working with children in active environments.
• Responsibilities
• + Provide behavioral support to students during afterschool activities + Assist with transitions, routines, and group engagement + Reinforce positive behavior and program expectations + Support students 1:1 or in small groups as needed + Monitor safety during outdoor play, enrichment activities, and daily program flow + Communicate effectively with site staff regarding student needs or concerns
• Qualifications
• + Experience working with children or youth programs + Strong communication and teamwork skills + Ability to follow behavior plans and staff direction + Positive attitude, professionalism, and reliability The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs and collaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.

• Minimum Requirements:

• + High School diploma or equivalent required + Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred + Current CPR if applicable + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age
