In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). You will work at different school sites helping students meet their IEP goals. Your dedication will help foster skill development, improve behavior, and promote independence for your clients. Responsibilities Assist clients with meeting their IEP goals Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans Implement individualized behavior management strategies based on approved treatment protocols, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques Support clients during therapy sessions in school settings, ensuring consistency and effectiveness of interventions Communicate regularly with clients' IEP teams to provide updates, reinforce strategies, and promote generalization of skills Maintain confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and managing sensitive medical records with professionalism and care Follow ethical guidelines outlined in the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts to ensure high standards of client care Requirements Prior experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly autism spectrum disorders and ADHD Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and data collection methods Ability to assist with and support skill development through teaching and behavioral therapy strategies Experience working in school environments supporting individuals with disabilities or developmental delays is preferred Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to student care Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe is required; ongoing training provided if needed, RBT not required, but prefered Join us in creating a positive impact through dedicated behavior intervention services!
