Job Title:
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Part-time Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with individuals with autism and other developmental disorders, implementing behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or individuals with special needs and will be committed to providing high-quality, individualized care.
Key Responsibilities:
Working in home with children of different ages, availability after 3pm, 3:30pm or 4pm M-F and weekend availability if possible. Families are flexible with scheduling. Implement individualized behavior intervention plans and programs as designed by the BCBA. Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and interventions. Provide direct one-on-one therapy to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community environments. Assist in developing and refining behavior intervention plans and goals. Work collaboratively with the BCBA, families, and other team members to ensure consistency in treatment. Maintain professional and ethical standards in accordance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) guidelines. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in behavior analysis.
Qualifications:
Current RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic knowledge of behavior analysis principles and practices. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients' homes or other locations as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Ability to sit, stand, and engage in physical activities for extended periods.
Compensation:
25-32 dollars per hour depending on experience 10-15 hours a week
