There are 15 elementary schools and 3 intermediate schools. Six out of seventeen schools receive Title I funds. Schools range from the highest student enrollment (730) to the lowest student enrollment (269). The percentage of English Learners is 29% representing 56 languages spoken in the district. Oak Grove School District's focus is driven by the LCAP (Local Control Accountability Plan) and school site-specific SPSA (Single Plan for Student Achievement) which identifies short, intermediate, and long-term goals. First and foremost in all activities is the safety of students as well as student success in the areas of math and reading/language arts interwoven with science, social studies and visual and performing arts. Student performance goals have been integrated into the state and federal accountability systems. • 6 Hours The Intensive Behavior Specialist ("IBS") will provide training, coaching, and specialized direct intervention following the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis ("ABA"), as detailed below; assist teachers and behavioral staff with the preparation of materials for intervention and classroom generalization; collect, process, and analyze data from intervention sessions in collaboration with the assigned Board Certified Behavior Analyst ("BCBA"); and collaborate with the BCBA to provide coaching and/or training of individualized behavioral strategies to be used by other District employees for student generalization and fading Intensive Behavior Intervention services, for the purpose of increasing students' ability to participate and benefit from school, including through classroom instruction and as part of the school community Comments and Other Information
