Job Description

Position Summary The Behavior Technician (BT) provides direct, one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents with developmental, behavioral, or social-emotional needs. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the BT implements individualized treatment plans, collects accurate data, and collaborates with families and team members to support skill development and behavior reduction. Key Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies developed by the supervising BCBA. Provide direct ABA therapy in the home, center, school, or community settings. Collect accurate and timely data on client progress and behaviors. Maintain professional, supportive communication with supervisors, families, and colleagues. Attend and actively participate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions. Follow company protocols to ensure client safety, dignity, and confidentiality at all times. Adapt to different environments and demonstrate flexibility in supporting client needs. Assist with generalization of skills across settings, people, and situations.
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent. At least 18 years old. Ability to pass background check, TB test, and any state/federal requirements. Reliable transportation and consistent availability for scheduled sessions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Physical ability to interact with children (e.g., sitting on the floor, lifting up to 25 lbs, engaging in play-based activities).
Preferred:
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. Experience working with children, especially those with developmental disabilities. Coursework or degree in psychology, education, child development, or related field. Competencies & Skills Professionalism and integrity. Patience and adaptability. Attention to detail in data collection and documentation. Commitment to client-centered, compassionate care. Growth mindset with willingness to learn and take feedback. Work Environment & Schedule Services are provided in client homes, schools, centers, and/or community settings. Schedule may include afternoons, evenings, and weekends based on client needs. This position requires frequent movement, play-based engagement, and occasional travel between sessions. Compensation & Growth Hourly pay: $26
