Job Summary We have an adult residential facility (ARF) under the umpbrella of the San Andreas Regional Center (SARC), and are seeking a Behavior Consultant BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) to join our team on a full time, or part-time basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality behavioral support to individuals with developmental disabilities. Duties Under the supervision of a licensed clinical psychologist; implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors in adults with disabilities Document appropriately to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly Collaborate with families and healthcare providers to ensure cohesive care Perform and recommend home-based behavioral interventions Maintain accurate medical documentation, medical records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for client confidentiality and privacy Skills Preferred experience working with invidicuals with developmental disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients' families, school personnel, and interdisciplinary teams Familiarity with the ARF and group-home style environments in California. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of medical records and client information We need at least a commitment of 3-5 hours in-person, in Seaside per week. However you will have the opportunity to build your schedule and come to the home in Seaside anytime between 6AM-10PM, any day of the week. You will also have the option to have a 9 month work schedule, or work continuously through the year. Pay increases are available based on experience. You will have the option to remain on a part time basis with the Seaside home, or to open your availability and accept hours from homes ranging from Monterey County, all the way up to the San Jose area. You have complete control to work as much or as little as you would like. You can create your own schedule from the beginning, and you have the ability to completely choose when you work. We are able to offer this position to anyone with BCBA credentials, and you do not need to have experience outside of your credentials.
