Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Behavior Consultant BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality behavioral support to individuals with developmental disabilities. Your expertise will help foster meaningful progress through individualized treatment plans, data-driven interventions, and compassionate client care. Duties Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and diagnostic evaluations, to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention strategies Implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors in children with disabilities Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly Provide clinical supervision and training to behavior technicians and support staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare providers through client communication, intake processes, and progress updates to ensure cohesive care Perform home-based behavioral interventions and support clients in various settings such as schools or community environments Maintain accurate medical documentation, medical records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for client confidentiality and privacy Skills Proven experience working with invidicuals with developmental disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders Strong knowledge of behavior intervention strategies, behavioral psychological assessments, and functional assessments Expertise in data collection methods, medical terminology, and medical documentation procedures Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients' families, school personnel, and interdisciplinary teams Ability to perform patient assessments and conduct diagnostic evaluations with sensitivity and professionalism Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of medical records and client information Experience working in home-based settings or school environments supporting children with disabilities or behavioral health needs This position is located in an adult ARF in Seaside, under the CCL and San Andreas Regional Center programs.
