This opportunity offers the chance to focus your talents at a single site, working an average of 32.5 hours per week in a supportive educational environment. Your expertise will be instrumental in assessing, treating, and monitoring student progress—from elementary through high school—while collaborating closely with educators and families to maximize student success.
Desired Qualifications:
Active California Board of Occupational Therapy license (OTR/L or qualified COTA) Previous experience in school settings highly valued Strong understanding of IEP development, documentation, and progress monitoring Excellent communication and collaboration skills Adaptability to adjust interventions for diverse needs and age groups Dedication to fostering independence and academic participation in students
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and deliver individualized occupational therapy services to students according to IEPs Develop and implement treatment goals, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in regular progress reviews Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to provide ongoing support and resources Adapt materials and strategies to meet motor, sensory, and functional needs within the classroom environment Attend team meetings and actively contribute to student planning and intervention processes This role offers the professional satisfaction of seeing your work directly impact young lives within a vibrant school community.
