As an RBT, you will work closely with clients, families, and a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to deliver personalized therapy plans that foster independence and improve quality of life. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans developed by supervising BCBAs to support clients' developmental goals. Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other essential self-care skills. Collect and record accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Use evidence-based teaching strategies rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA) to promote skill acquisition and reduce problematic behaviors. Communicate regularly with families about client progress, behavior management strategies, and home program implementation. Maintain confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and safeguarding all medical records and client information. Collaborate with team members to develop care plans tailored to each child's unique needs and ensure consistent service delivery across settings. Skills Experience working with children, especially those with autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disabilities. Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and implementation of ABA therapy protocols. Proficiency in data collection methods for behavioral health and medical documentation practices. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards. Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients' independence in home-based environments. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, family education, and team collaboration. Prior experience in special education or school settings is highly valued; home-based behavioral experience is a plus.
