Position Summary The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician (Trainee) provides direct, one-on-one behavioral intervention and skill acquisition services to clients under the direct, ongoing supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We currently have an immediate 20-hour/week case in the Fort Morgan area , with additional approvals expected soon to build to a full-time schedule.

Key ResponsibilitiesDirect Service Delivery Implement client treatment plans, including skill acquisition (communication, social, self-care) and behavior reduction plans (BIPs). Utilize data-driven ABA techniques such as Discrete-Trial Training (DTT) and Natural Environment Teaching (NET) . Maintain a positive, motivating, and therapeutic relationship with the client and their family. Ensure client safety and provide timely de-escalation of challenging behaviors. Data Collection & Documentation Collect and graph accurate behavioral data during every session using our electronic data collection system. Complete detailed, professional session notes and billing logs within required deadlines. Collaboration & Compliance Participate in required team meetings, supervision sessions, and clinical training. Adhere to BACB ethical guidelines and maintain strict client confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA .

Qualifications Certification Status:

Certified RBTs:

Must possess a current, active RBT, BCAT, or ABAT credential.

Aspiring RBTs:

Must be willing to complete the 40-hour RBT training and pass the BACB exam within 45 days of hire (we provide the support to get you there!).

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred).

Background Check:

Must pass a comprehensive background check as required by the state of Colorado.

Physical Demands:

Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, run, and lift up to 25 lbs to provide active, effective therapy.
