Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Experience as a paraprofessional, behavioral technician, or similar role in a school environment Certified CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training Familiarity with principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and guidance from a BCBA Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with educators and special education staff Compassion, patience, and adaptability in responding to students' unique needs Ability to maintain accurate data and documentation
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students requiring behavioral assistance Implement behavioral intervention plans as developed by BCBA supervision Assist with classroom management, reinforcing established routines and expectations Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment Monitor and document student progress and behavior Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities These contract roles are perfect for professionals eager for a dynamic and supportive environment, with the added benefit of starting right away.
