School Based RBT Position Details:
K-12 Caseload Full-Time, 1.0 FTE Monday-Friday Starting August 2026 for the entire school year About the Role Hello, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a K-12 school setting in Longmont, CO. In this role, you'll support students with behavioral and developmental needs by implementing individualized behavior plans, collecting data, and collaborating with school teams. This is an excellent opportunity for both new and experienced RBTs who are passionate about making a meaningful impact in students' lives while working alongside a supportive educational team. Why Join Us Competitive pay, up to $30/hour Consistent full-time school-year schedule W-2 employment with liability insurance included Healthcare benefits• and 401(k) with company match Reimbursement for certification, CEUs, and professional expenses Mileage reimbursement between school sites Employee referral bonuses What You'll Do Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA Provide 1:1 and small-group behavioral support to students Collect and document data on student progress and behaviors Support students' social, emotional, behavioral, and communication development Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers Assist with classroom management and positive behavior strategies Maintain accurate and compliant documentation What We're Looking For Active RBT certification (or ability to obtain prior to the start date) High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills School-based or ABA experience is a plus About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a therapist-owned and operated company built by providers who understand school-based services.
