9675482-80504 Job Description An exciting contract opportunity is available for a talented professional with expertise in behavior intervention and special education. Based onsite at a dynamic middle school, youll support a classroom of 10 students in an inclusive and collaborative environment. The team includes paraeducators, peer mentors, and access to resources such as a BCBA, SLP, OT/PT, and school psychological services.

Qualifications and Experience:

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential required. Certified as, or actively pursuing, a CDE (Colorado Department of Education) Special Education license. You must provide proof of an

ACTIVE CDE

license or COOL prior to interviewing. Minimum of one years direct classroom experience, preferably in a special education setting. Strong team orientationflexibility and collaboration are essential. Experience working alongside multidisciplinary teams is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver evidence-based behavioral interventions as a Registered Behavior Technician within a middle school classroom. Work closely with Special Education Teacher and other service providers to support individualized learning plans. Implement strategies to foster positive behaviors, improve social skills, and facilitate academic engagement for students with diverse needs. Collaborate with paraeducators, therapists, and school staff to ensure consistent, high-quality support. Maintain accurate records and document interventions and student progress.

Position Specifics:

Full-time, 37.5 hours/week (including 2.5 hours unpaid lunch). Caseload consists of 10 students, with strong support from paraeducators and related service professionals. Must be available for an immediate start through May 21, 2027.
