Key Qualifications:
Active or previously certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT); this role is not suitable for RBTs in training, as no BCBA supervision is available At least two years of direct experience in a special education public school classroom (training or private environments do not fulfill this requirement) Comfortable working with students with autism in an elementary setting Team-oriented mindset, open to collaboration with a multidisciplinary staff Reliable transportation for daily commute to the school Capable of maintaining professionalism and flexibility in a dynamic academic setting
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct behavioral interventions and instructional support to students in an intensive learning center Implement individualized education plans, following established protocols and best practices for students with autism Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and administrative staff to support student progress Report daily to the schools Principal and Special Education Director Participate in scheduled trainings as required during the school year This is a unique opportunity for certified RBTs seeking to specialize in elementary autism support within a school-based environment. Work part-time hours from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and help make a difference, every day school is in session.
