Job Description

Step into a rewarding, full-time contract opportunity supporting students and collaborating closely with a talented educational team. This on-site role takes place within a dynamic middle school setting and offers the chance to make a significant impact while working with a devoted group of educators and specialists. The position extends through the academic year, concluding on May 21, 2027. The classroom serves 10 students and includes support from peer mentors, two full-time paraeducators, and dedicated professionals such as a BCBA, SLP, OT/PT, and school psychologist/social worker. This structure provides a rich environment for both teaching and learning, and youll benefit from the guidance and resources of an experienced team.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and experience in special education settings Minimum of one year in a classroom environment required Flexibility and a team-centered attitude to foster collaboration Must possess or be actively pursuing a CDE license (not eligible with TEE) Documentation of active CDE license or COOL status must be submitted with your application (no interviews conducted without this documentation)
Responsibilities:
Directly support special education students, working alongside lead teachers, paraeducators, and clinical professionals Implement behavior intervention plans and data collection under a BCBAs guidance Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment Adapt strategies to individual student needs and offer hands-on instruction Contribute to IEP process, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team
