50 Stars Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students in a school-based setting in Bozrah, Connecticut . The ideal candidate will provide individualized behavioral, academic, and social support while helping students develop positive behaviors and essential functional skills. Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small-group behavioral support to students. Implement behavior intervention plans and ABA-based strategies under appropriate supervision. Support students with communication, social skills, classroom routines, and transitions. Assist students with academic activities as directed by the classroom team. Collect and document behavioral and skill-acquisition data. Implement positive behavior-support strategies consistently. Support students in developing independence and functional skills. Collaborate with special education teachers, BCBA, therapists, and other school staff. Monitor student progress and communicate relevant observations to the educational team. Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment. Maintain student confidentiality and accurate documentation. Qualifications Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience working with children or students with Autism/developmental disabilities preferred. Experience with ABA and behavior intervention strategies preferred. Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills. Ability to follow individualized behavioral and educational support plans. Ability to work effectively in a school-based team environment.
