Job Description

Exciting new opportunity for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to work on a contract basis supporting K-12 students in Connecticut. With locations spanning Hartford, Wallingford, and Fairfield County, this position offers exposure to a diverse student population and highly collaborative school environments. What Were Looking For:
Active BCBA certification Experience working in school settings, preferably with K-12 students Familiarity with a range of disabilities, including ED (Emotional Disturbance), ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), ADHD, ODD, and LD (Learning Disabilities) Strong classroom management and data collection skills Ability to coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and school personnel Flexibility to travel between potential multiple sites in the region Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct behavioral assessments and develop behavior intervention plans for students Provide direct and consultative behavioral support for a caseload of 1535 students (caseload varies) Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to implement effective strategies Train school staff in behavior support techniques and monitor program fidelity Collect and analyze data to guide ongoing intervention and make adjustments as needed Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements Support a positive, inclusive learning environment across assigned schools This role is open to full-time, part-time, or per diem schedules through June 7, 2024.
